OUR BELIEFS
In an age where truth seems to always be up for debate, we, as the church, believe it is necessary to hold fast the confession that the truth is what is revealed to us in and through God and His Holy Word. There is the Truth, and the Truth is not for us to debate: the Truth sets us free.
As an evangelical, Bible-believing, church, we take seriously the claims of the Holy Scriptures, and as a fellowship, seek to uphold the received faith as passed down to us —disciples— by the Apostles, from Christ. As the body of Christ, we seek to grow and in every respect mature as the body of Him, Christ, who is the Head. Every member of the body is joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share.
That we, as a local expression of the body of Christ, may fulfil our calling in Him, we maintain, and teach, for God's glory and our edification, the following truths.

That we, as a local expression of the body of Christ, may fulfil our calling in Him, we maintain, and teach, for God's glory and our edification, the following truths.
- That the entire Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is therefore accurate, without error, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives;
- That there is one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one,
their glory equal, their majesty co-eternal. He is totally loving, just, and completely holy;
- That God created man —men and women— in His image, meaning that life is valuable and sacred;
- That sin, first brought into the world through the fall of Adam and Eve, of whom we are all descended, has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives;
- That the Lord Jesus Christ, as both fully God and fully man, in His one person, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His power over death;
- That in order to receive forgiveness and the 'new birth' we must repent of our sins, and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to His will for our lives;
- That God wants to transform us, conforming us evermore to the image of His Son, so that we can become more effective disciples;
- That in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is given to us upon our 'new birth' and indwells us, guiding our growth as well as enabling us to use spiritual gifts He imparts to us, and sealing us as a child of God for the remainder of our days;
- That God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God and to fulfil the command to, 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you';
- That the church is commanded to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread' in local gatherings, drawing near to God and resisting the devil;
- That our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. Believers will enter glory and be in the eternal, blessed presence of God. Whereas non-believers will be damned to hell, and God will exercise His eternal, supreme justice on them in the place He set aside for Satan, and the angels who followed him in disobedience to God;
- That the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised. He will return bodily, mightily, triumphantly, magisterially, and in all His glory.
